Duromine is a drug that is often used to help obese people lose weight. It is generally used only for short periods of time and should be integrated with a continuous exercise program and a low calorie diet. The drug is an appetite suppressant.
The patient is usually advised to take duromine at an empty stomach for about 30 minutes before meals. Doctors usually schedule 15mg on morning or 8mg before three daily meals. Medication is generally no more than 3-6 weeks, because it is easy to addiction. Sudden withdrawal of the patient may cause withdrawal symptoms.
