What kind of post cycle treatment is needed when taking anavar?
Many steroid cycles require a PCT period during which you take certain supplements or drugs to help the body recover its natural rhythms. This is especially true of any steroid that may cause testosterone levels to be inhibited or may be harsh on the liver.

Many people believe that anavar must be combined with a powerful androgen to have an effect. In general, Anavar accumulates with testosterone, dianabol,Deca d, trENbolone, or possibly HGH. But this is unnecessary, and it is possible to achieve a reliable result with only anavar cycle.
Anavar is very effective in gaining lean weight at a rate of 40 mg per day. It has no water retention. It can be used for bulking and cutting cycles. During the cutting process, it can maintain or even increase the user's weight.
However, those who use it for buclking will gain a lot. Daily use of at least 40 mg of anava produced a significant increase in strength in about two weeks.

Is PCT necessary for anavar?
Some schools think that PCT (clomid / Nolvadex) is not needed when using anavar.
Anavar is an inhibitory compound, but it is much lower than the typical steroid inhibition and is generally safer. Since oxandrolone does not aromatize and convert to estrogen at low doses, it hardly interferes with the natural production of testosterone. However, at higher doses, the natural production of testosterone may be inhibited. This is typical of other anabolisms / androgens.
HPTA is usually recovered by post cycle treatment. Clomid / novaldex or hCG is not usually required when using low dose oxandrolone alone.
But if you are taking a higher dose, anavar PCT is necessary to protect and prevent problems with hepatotoxicity and testicular function.
However, for users of anavar, mild use of PCT is sufficient.
