Although arimidxe does increase testosterone slightly, it is more often used in
combination with other steroids to reduce estrogen levels in the body. Many
anabolic steroids will be converted into estrogen or aromatized in the body,
resulting in many unnecessary side effects, such as bloating and acne. Arimidex
is one of the best compounds to reduce the aromatization of steroids.
Arimidex (commonly known as anastrozole) is a new drug for the treatment of
advanced breast cancer in women. In particular, Arimidex is the first of the
third generation of selective oral aromatase inhibitors.. Its role is to block
aromatase, and then block the production of estrogen. As many forms of breast
cancer cells are stimulated by estrogen, it is hoped that the development of
this disease can be prevented by reducing the content of estrogen in the body.
That's the basic premise of Novadex, except that the drug blocks the action of
estrogen rather than its production. It was dramatic, at least. In patients
receiving treatment, taking one tablet (1 mg) a day produces more than 80%
estrogen suppression. Due to its strong effect on hormone levels, the drug is
only suitable for postmenopausal women, and the disease has progressed after
treatment with norvax (tamoxifen citrate).
Side effects such as flushing and thinning hair can also occur, no doubt more
severe in premenopausal patients.
Arimidex shows great potential for male athletes who use steroids. So far, drugs
like Novadex and proveron have been our weapons against estrogen overdose. These
drugs are very effective, especially in combination. But Arimidex seems to be
able to do it more efficiently and with less hassle. One tablet a day (1 mg),
the same dose for clinical use, seems to be that everyone needs an exceptional
effect (some even report that only 0.25 mg a day has a good effect). When used
with potent andaromaticity androgens, such as two naphthol or testosterone, it
can effectively prevent breast development and * retention of water in women. We
have made great progress in combination with propargine. One drug can prevent
the conversion of estrogen, the other can block the decrease of 5 - α, and the
related side effects can be effectively minimized. Here, the powerful androgen
testosterone can theoretically provide incredible muscle growth and be as well
tolerated as Pheretima. In addition, the quality of the muscles should be
higher, the athletes look harder and clearer, and don't hold too much water.
However, there are some problems with the use of aromatase inhibitors in
long-term steroid therapy. Although it effectively reduces the side effects of
estrogen, it also prevents the beneficial properties of estrogen from becoming
apparent (i.e., its effect on cholesterol values). Studies have clearly shown
that when aromatase inhibitors are used in combination with steroids such as
testosterone, the inhibitory effect on HDL (good) cholesterol is more
pronounced. Clearly, estrogen plays a role in reducing the negative effects of
steroid use. Since the estrogen receptor antagonist Nolvadex has been shown to
have no anti estrogen effect on cholesterol levels, it is undoubtedly the first
choice for estrogen maintenance in people who are concerned about cardiovascular
health.
Arimidex has another major drawback: the drug is expensive. Tablets can easily
be sold for $10 each, and if used regularly, they can become quite expensive.
Obviously, the price of an adjuvant drug may be much higher than the steroid
itself, which is doomed to be unpopular with leisure bodybuilders. On the other
hand, competitors may welcome the product. It can better resist the side effects
of androgen therapy and make the cycle more comfortable than Novadex and / or
provinone. As the number of countries producing this drug increases, we may be
able to expect prices to fall. A private synthetic version of "liquid Arimidex"
has also been made "for research purposes". Generic labels are also available,
and both forms represent a very cost-effective option to buy branded drugs.
